Forklift Operator

It is a trained professional responsible for operating forklifts to lift, transport, stack, and unload materials safely and efficiently in warehouses, manufacturing plants, logistics centers, construction sites, and industrial facilities. These machines play a vital role in handling heavy loads, organizing inventory, and ensuring the smooth movement of goods within the workplace. Forklift Operators work closely with warehouse supervisors, logistics teams, and site personnel to transport materials accurately while maintaining productivity and following established safety procedures. They are skilled in handling different types of loads, maneuvering in confined spaces, and operating forklifts with precision to prevent damage to goods and equipment. In addition to operating the forklift, operators perform daily equipment inspections, routine maintenance checks, and basic troubleshooting to ensure the machine remains in safe working condition. They are also responsible for identifying mechanical issues and reporting them promptly to reduce downtime and improve operational efficiency.

2. As with most construction trades, work can be seasonal
